Methodological Note
This article is intentionally long, detailed, and somewhat repetitive.
This is not a random stylistic choice, but a methodological necessity.
DirectDemocracyS is a complex, interdependent system, profoundly different from traditional political models. For this reason, each concept is presented multiple times, from different perspectives and in connection with other topics, to avoid misleading simplifications, ideological interpretations, or superficial readings.
DirectDemocracyS's priority is not to "please" or simplify, but to be properly understood. We prefer a compelling style, where necessary, rather than brief but incomplete or easily distorted explanations.
Detailed explorations of each individual concept will be covered in dedicated informative articles.
DirectDemocracyS: The Only Authentic Democracy
DirectDemocracyS is the first and only political organization that allows its voters—informed by groups of specialists (ensuring informed and competent decisions)—complete and continuous control over time of their political representatives (on our platforms), before, during, and for the first time in the world, also after the elections.
Together with truly and completely shared leadership (bottom-up democracy), we add—as a measure to prevent dictatorships and the misuse of power—the right of collective ownership for all our official members over the entire system, based on equality and meritocracy, guaranteed to everyone, always together, and in a continuous manner.
Logic, common sense, truth, reality, study, research, and exceptional security measures in everything we do, along with unity in diversity, complete—together with the two long sentences above—our fundamental qualities.
To those to whom these sentences seem disconnected or banal, first of all, the usual appeal: study all our public information on our websites thoroughly, with an open mind, and do not be superficial by expressing rushed judgments.
After explaining to you who we are and what we do, let us talk about the old and current political systems which, with the exception of DirectDemocracyS, are all—in more or less evident and serious ways—unjust, inequitable, false, unreliable, insecure, manipulative, failures, and often liars, thieves, and corrupt; above all, they steal from the population what should rightfully belong to them: authentic democracy. Obviously, we are not talking about dictatorial regimes, which we have discussed several times, explaining the importance of potentially infinite individual and group freedom (which ends, however, where the freedom of another person or group begins), which results in the possibility of implementing political pluralism and democracy.
The term we use to refer to all political forces other than our own is: oligarchic partitocracy. In short, the meaning is: political forces that, after elections, take all the power for themselves (which in a democracy should belong to the people), and for long years all the parties, coalitions, and alliances govern and make laws without almost ever again asking for a binding opinion from those who, with their vote, gave them the right of political representation in the institutions.
Many people will tell us: it has always been this way, this is "democracy"; election campaigns are organized, political forces propose programs, and the population decides at the elections who wins and who loses, who decides and who takes the opposition, who commands and who must execute. It has always been done this way, and it will always be done this way.
Perfect, we understand the point of view of citizens, perhaps not very competent (whom we, however, help individually and as a group with our specialists), but the very serious thing is that even many political experts at a global level, and many university professors, have answered us in the same way.
To all those who would give the same answer, we ask you a question: do the old, traditional political forces continue to make democracy concrete and authentic through elections? If you answer yes, you are just hypocrites, because the "uninformed and manipulated democracy of elections" is transformed into oligarchic partitocracy, in which the winning political forces govern the countries and their respective institutions for long years, make laws (not always for the collective good), and above all manage all the wealth of the various countries without being accountable to anyone. The population not only holds no power (especially of management and control), but cannot even oppose any decisions that are not for the common good.
To better understand the situation, we ask you another question: do all the political forces that win elections respect all the programs and all the promises made to the voters? If your answer is again a convinced yes, we are sorry for your inability to judge the situation correctly, but do not worry; many political experts have also told us: this is "democracy," if a political force or a political representative does not respect all the programs and all the promises, the voters at the next elections can let other political forces, other coalitions, other alliances, and other political representatives win.
Excellent, however, we would have another simple question: if at the elections one votes for other political forces, which have other programs and make other promises, does the situation for the population change completely and improve in a clearly visible way? Again, you will inevitably have to answer that little changes, and it almost never improves in an evident manner.
We do not want to bring bad luck, but whoever wins, the situation always remains more or less the same, yet political forces and their representatives always find justifications, blame each other, and the population continues to trust them.
It is anyone's right to continue to be fooled, but everyone should stop defining the real situation with words that have nothing to do with the world we live in.
Do not call "democracy" what has nothing in common with democracy; immediately after the elections, the population is powerless and suffers the consequences of decisions taken, in many cases, for the interests of lobbies and rich and powerful people, and not for the common good. The term oligarchic partitocracy—or partial, incomplete, and limited democracy—is perfectly fine to describe even countries that delude people into believing they are free and democratic.
The only authentic democracy consists of certain popular referendums, which are held from time to time more to fight political ideological battles than to change and improve people's lives; for the rest, there is a puppeteer (the lobbies that control almost all political forces when they win elections), the puppets who are almost all the old political forces and almost all their political representatives, who carry out the orders received, and then there is the population, who are the spectators of this show, who can only do two things: applaud while they are being teased, enjoying the show against their own interests, or protest, throwing rotten vegetables at the puppets, because whatever they do, they will never hit the real puppeteers.
Do not accuse us of being too harsh; look around you, and you will have to admit that we are right, that we do not exaggerate with any word, and that reality is unfortunately this.
The only ones who do not admit the truth are those who benefit from these unjust systems, or those who have been manipulated so severely that it amounts to brainwashing. If the former are colluded with the other systems for interest, they can be understood but certainly not absolved from the "sin" of not wanting the common good; the latter, instead, have been rendered harmless by all these systems because they have been divided into various political "fanbases." Divide and submit, divide and control, divide and you will have power and wealth.
Right, left, conservatives and progressives, Republicans and Democrats, and everything in between and at the extremes, are all faces of the same coin, all more or less similar in taking the power that should belong to the people and splitting it among themselves, often involuntarily, but more or less with the same consequences for the population.
Now let's engage in some practical and sincere reasoning together. Have you noticed that people tend to become ideologized on every issue, and use that to evaluate and judge everyone else and all their concrete actions, decisions, and even their preferences? You cannot deny it; we all do it a bit: if something is said, done, or preferred by a political "adversary," even if it is right or for the common good, we tend to criticize and judge it based on our conveniences. If, instead, one of "ours" says, does, or prefers anything, even if it is wrong, we always tend to agree with them. There are enormous psychological implications, which we may analyze in future informative articles with our specialists regarding the details, causes, and possible solutions. The important issue is that we almost always judge things based on who says them, does them, or prefers them. The examples are infinite, and in various informative articles, we have given you several examples.
Now we come to our solutions for all these problems, which are very important and decisive for everyone's lives. To understand them, reread the first sentences of this informative article of ours, and imagine the beneficial consequences for everyone if our brilliant solutions were implemented everywhere.
DirectDemocracyS completely reverses the roles; it potentially puts the entire world population in the role that belongs to it in the only authentic and complete democracy—ours, the direct one—with complete and continuous management and complete and continuous control over time by the voters over their political representatives, as we always say: before, during, and for the first time in the world, also after the elections. We will repeat it as often as necessary: all our users/voters are people informed by specialist groups (reliable, competent, loyal, and continuously tested to guarantee their incorruptibility) so they have all the possibilities and the predicted consequences for every decision; they perform the role of the puppeteers, making their "puppets"—who are their political representatives—do exactly what they decide and when they decide it, relegating all lobbies and all rich and powerful people to the role of powerless spectators who must respect the rules decided by the population. This system of ours is not only just, equitable, and secure, but it is the only one that unites in diversity, having as its objective the common good of the entire population, freedom, and obviously democracy. In the future, after having freed people's minds from manipulation, brainwashing, and the forced ideology suffered forever from the old systems, it will even be possible to have direct democracy without the need for intermediaries (political representatives), by having the entire population manage all the institutions directly. It will take a long time, and much hard and complicated work, by everyone.
But why only our system, and why only by joining us, and why only on our platforms? Because only our system protects people from manipulation, brainwashing, and ensures impenetrable security measures to protect people from every negative influence. Don't worry, we are not changing the system to manipulate or control anything or anyone, and above all, we do not pretend to teach anything to anyone, because we have been morphologically conceived to make everyone leaders and owners of the entire system, but with common rules decided in a democratic way, to change and improve the world through our innovations, which are alternatives to all other systems.
Perhaps the most important question: can DirectDemocracyS be trusted? You have trusted everyone else, and you see what a beautiful world they have created; therefore, we answer you with the most logical question: do you trust yourselves? Because in DirectDemocracyS, you yourselves will be the ones to decide, manage, and control everything and everyone; therefore, all together, we could never do worse than those who preceded us. The system we are creating works, and the facts prove it, and time will prove us right. One last thing that not everyone understands: our system is completely legal and respects every democratic rule, implementing freedom and respecting political pluralism; we will never eliminate the right to prefer other systems. We are people, therefore human beings, who have given themselves rules that everyone respects and will make others respect, whomever joins us. No one forces anyone to join us, but if they do, let them know that there are no alternatives; everything we decide together must be respected and implemented by anyone who joins us, and no one will be able to prevent us from carrying out our activities exactly as they were decided. Our system works this way and can be integrated into any system, but without losing its own identity.
