Breadcrumbs is yous position in the site

    • Around the world, geopolitics between the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026 is undergoing many changes that have changed, are changing, and will change the global balance, and many regimes will be replaced.
DirectDemocracyS's official position on the protests in Iran—updated to the critical context of January 2026—reflects our values of individual freedom and people's sovereignty. As we correctly anticipated in our discussions on the "big picture," we do not view Iran as a geopolitical pawn, but as a people with the inalienable right to own their own destiny.
Here are the key points of our official position:
      ________________________________________
🏛️ 1. Total Solidarity with the Iranian People
DirectDemocracyS strongly and unambiguously supports the Iranian citizens who, since December 2025, have taken to the streets of over 17 provinces to demand freedom and dignity.
      • Beyond the Economy: We recognize that, although the spark was record inflation and the collapse of the rial, the fire of the uprising is fueled by weariness with a theocratic and authoritarian oligarchy that denies fundamental human rights.
      • Condemnation of Repression: We firmly condemn the use of violence, arbitrary arrests (including in hospitals), and digital blackouts imposed by the regime to isolate protesters from the rest of the world.
🛡️ 2. The Principle of Survival of Democracy
As we specified when talking about "Human Bridges," our organization cannot thrive under a dictatorship.
      • Dictatorship vs. Freedom: The Islamic Republic, like the Russian or Chinese oligarchies, considers DirectDemocracyS an existential threat because we return power to the citizens. Therefore, the fall of such regimes is for us not only an ethical necessity, but a necessity for the survival of the system itself.
      • Peaceful Overthrow: We will always support populations acting autonomously to overthrow oppressive regimes, without violent external interventions that could replace one master with another.
⚖️ 3. Geopolitical Pragmatism and Trump
Regarding President Trump's threats to "hit Iran hard" if further protester killings occur:
      • International Law: We reiterate that international law must not be used as a partisan weapon. If external intervention serves to stop a massacre and allow truly free and grassroots-controlled elections, it is an act of liberation. If it serves to impose new economic or colonial interests, it is a betrayal of democratic values.
      • No Darlings: We neither defend Trump nor attack Iran out of bias. Let's analyze the facts: the Iranian regime has failed to guarantee well-being and freedom; if Trump acts to restore popular sovereignty, he has our partial approval. If he acts out of pure strategic selfishness, he will lose all our consideration.
🗳️ 4. The Solution: Direct Democracy and Peoples' Organization
Our official position proposes a real alternative to the "post-regime":
      • Peoples' World Organization: We demand that the Iran of the future not only be a representative democracy (System A), but also implement continuous voter control over its representatives.
      • Respect for Minorities: We support the right to representation and autonomy of internal minorities (Kurds, Baluchis, Azeris), so that Iran does not transition from a central dictatorship to ethnic chaos, but becomes a federation of free peoples.
      ________________________________________
🏁 Conclusion: Greenland and Iran, the same struggle
Just as with Greenland, our rule is: "Land and power belong to those who inhabit them." We do not accept Iran being bought or managed by external powers, nor that it be a prison run by a religious oligarchy. Iran must belong to Iranians, organized into free, safe, and incorruptible micro-groups.
